Happy Birthday, Mom!  I hope you enjoy your tin of stuffed eggplants made in Turkey.  They're probably not as good as Robia's, but it will be interesting to see how they compare.

Tiger's Eye has broken his metacarpal head.  I laughed, because when they read me the rad report over the phone, they said "metatarsal," which is clearly incorrect.  I don't mean to be elitist, but that's a newbie mistake, and it's hospital transcription, the most enviable job in the world!  I would hurt people to type all those nifty reports.  Anyway...

He's doped up on Tylenol No. 3 and resting semicomfortably.  The official word is he was playing dodgeball at church and ran into the padding on the wall, kind of like punching it, which makes sense, since he has a "boxer's" fracture.  We see the ortho Monday, so everything is rolling right along.  The ER doc did the wet read as negative, so they called us today with the official reading, so back to the ER we went, but I got to see the films and see how it might be trouble if he's not careful, or won't be any trouble at all if it is.
