I wrote a piece not too long ago, I Wish I Remembered Her Name.  It's down the page a bit; I have something goofy about my day before it.  I thought the stories about the trebuchet might get me noticed in the word of writing, but it was my story about the woman's name that I forgot that made people take note.  I remember so many.  Sometimes, I don't remember names, but I remember characteristics, small words from someone age had robbed of a vocabulary, or those who were quite nefarious in their day.  I took care of one of Al Capone's cooks (or so it was said), and I only believed it after a textbook thug showed up to pay his respects to him one day.  So, I remember them, and I think someone else should, too.

This is the page dedicated to those people in my nursing life who taught me something important, made me learn about myself, or just made me laugh until I cried.  I worked geriatrics, so I hate the endings, but will try to celebrate them in other ways.  I'm starting with him.  I can't think about him and not smile.  Please, meet my:
