The first thing you'll notice is, of course, the blinding red. The next? Hopefully, you'll recognize the gentleman on the left as Albert Pujols. If not, turn around now, because you and ManCub will never, ever gel. ManCub is my sports nut, and he's into stats and how the game works, just not watching it being played. He loves to collect baseball cards and he's very knowledgeable about a wide variety of sports. I taught him how to write five-paragraph essays using why Pujols should be in the Hall of Fame someday as the topic. If it connects to sports, all is good. If not, well, I can fabricate.
He's 11 now, in sixth grade, and he's playing basketball again this year. He's already scored two points per game, and is an excellent rebounder and passer.
He's definitely worth getting to know. These links, in reverse chronological order, will give you some idea of what a great kid he is!
