The 08-23-07 is the date

The "F" means flight deck is not clear.  The "F" changes to a "C" when the deck is clear, and pilots can start landing.

The lower part is the time and the "29" is the knots of wind.

They had a guy blow off the ship because of the wind and from the jet backwash.  The tan vest I'm wearing that says "TOPCAT" is a flotation device that is activated by saltwater.

My mom thinks the shoe pictures are funny.  I tried to blame my uncle for leaving the camera rolling, but she could tell it was me because those were my shoes.

I can't describe how the plane sounds right before it lands.  Please watch the video. 

This plane caught the wire.

To the right, there is a picture of my uncle.  He's the one who invited me.

He dropped it, I watched the thing explode, and then a "boom" that I felt in my chest.

To the right, that is an F18 refueling.
